Al Dhaher Charter School educates students from Grade 5 to Grade 8 and is a part of the New Century Education group of schools. Located on a beautiful campus in Al Ain, UAE which is Commonly referred to as ‘The Garden City’. An Oasis town, approximately 90 minutes’ drive from central Dubai and Abi Dhabi, and best known for its green parks and lush gardens.

The vacancy: Head of English

We are looking for passionate educators with vision, focus and ambition. You will manage a growing team of fantastic, experienced educators and support our students in achieving their full potential.

We are keen to hear from professionals that are passionate about teaching and learning and dedicated to student progress and attainment. 

The successful applicant will have the following:

• A B.Ed. or degree and PGCE / PGDE, U.S teachers license or equivalent with exceptional subject knowledge.

• We are seeking to appoint talented, highly motivated, and well-qualified individuals. You should have a proven track record of outstanding learning and teaching.

• Confidence in their ability to lead an outstanding team plan engaging student-led lesson.

• Is confident in using a range of data to raise attainment and progress

• A mind-set which understands all students have the potential for top performance, and the drive and passion to enable them to do so.

• Experience teaching the U.S Curriculum is advantageous although not essential

• At least 2 years’ experience leading a successful English Department
