The opportunity

Kristin School is a co-educational, non-denominational, independent school on Auckland’s North Shore. It educates over 1800 students from Early Learning to Year 13, with dual pathways through NCEA and the International Baccalaureate programme.

We are seeking a proactive and innovative leader for our Mathematics faculty, consisting of 15 specialist teachers across Years 7-13. Responsible for the success of the faculty, you will lead a passionate team of teachers and curriculum leaders to provide outstanding results for our students across middle and senior schools. As part of the leadership team of the school you will build strong relationships within Kristin and the wider communities. Utilising strong business acumen skills, you will be fiscally responsible for the budget and successful outcomes of the faculty.    

Important Skills

This role requires an experienced educational leader, who is passionate about leading and developing people, and has a track record in curriculum development and innovative student initiatives.

This role has a partial teaching load, so you are knowledgeable in your curricular, comfortable with technology and committed to Kristin’s values; “Progress with vision, integrity and love”. You will be trained in IB or NCEA curriculum if required.
