The Learning Academies Trust is seeking a Head of Governance to oversee all aspects of governance effectiveness and compliance within the Trust. The Head of Governance will ensure governance adheres to good practice and meets all statutory and regulatory requirements and provide strategic leadership of services that support governance across the Trust.

We are looking for a Head of Governance who will:

  • Support the efficient and effective operation of the Trust Board and its committee
  • Ensure effective communications are maintained with the Board, the Trust advisory committees, governance professionals and stakeholders
  • Design and monitor the governance support structure, liaising with our Local Governing Bodies
  • Be the named company secretary for the Trust
