Head of History

The Governing body are seeking to appoint a passionate Head of History to join an outstanding department.

King’s is a non-selective school that was founded on traditional values and international research. The school is highly regarded and significantly oversubscribed. In the most recent  DfE performance tables, King's is ranked in the top 2% of schools in the North West.

The History faculty is forward thinking and has established a scholarly community, where innovative teachers develop talented students. For the successful candidate this is a unique opportunity to join a superb team and shape the department's future success. The curriculum is exciting and knowledge based, with students across all ages genuinely enjoying their History lessons. Departmental resources and schemes of work are of a very high standard and support teacher work-life balance through minimal marking and research informed pedagogy.
