Job overview

Chafyn Grove School is looking for an inspirational Head of History to join the Prep school from September 2024. This follows the retirement of the incumbent at the end of the summer term. The ideal candidate will be an excellent classroom practitioner who is able to teach KS2/3 History to pupils in Year groups 5 – 8 and bring history to life. We will welcome applications from qualified candidates who are looking for a full-time or part-time teaching position. The ability to contribute to the wider life of the school will be also be considered favourably. This includes opportunities to teach a secondary subject, taking on the duties of a Form tutor and assisting with weekly Games sessions.
