ACS Egham are looking for a Head of Department for Maths to join our dynamic team who are focused on inspiring the world’s future thinkers and doers.

Essential requirements:

  • A dynamic leader who can build and develop a team, by creating a culture of inclusion where everyone has a voice and opportunities to lead and grow.
  • A leader who can inspire and motive the team to go beyond and push boundaries in the name of improving education.
  • A leader who recognises the importance of holistic education and understand the collaborative approach needed the international baccalaureate programmes.
  • A strong sense of teamwork.

Ideal requirements:

  • Experience of teaching IBDP Maths AA or higher-level maths courses in secondary schools including post 16 education.
  • Experience with MYP Maths would also be preferred or a background / experience in inquiry based learning with authentic assessment.
  • Ability to add value to our learning programme through Co-Curricular activities: The ACS Egham CCA programme has 5 focus areas: Athletics, Performing Arts, STEM (Destination Imagination),
  • Leadership and development (Duke of Edinburgh) and Internationalism and debating (Model United Nations – MUN).
  • Enrichment Programme– Trip leaders / willing trip volunteers, organising service-learning opportunities and leadership training.


Start date: we open to applications for either a January or August 2025 start.

About ACS Egham International School

ACS Egham International School is an independent, co-educational, all-through day school located in the town of Egham, Surrey. Part of the ACS group, which runs a number of independent international schools in the UK and elsewhere, ACS Egham provides for over 600 students aged 3-18.

The school occupies a 20-acre site that has seen consistent investment and development over the years. ACS Egham offers all four International Baccalaureates, at Primary, Middle, Certificate and Diploma level. It also provides for students intending to study for a US high school diploma.
