Bede's Trust requires an experienced and innovative individual to join us in mid-September as a Head of Nursery at our Prep School by the sea in Eastbourne.

The staff within the school are key to making this happen and to allowing pupils to find joy in their pursuit of brilliance.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day to day running of the Nursery, working in collaboration with other members of the Middle Management Team and the Head of Year Reception to Year 2. To ensure that the Nursery fulfils its requirements under the EYFS framework in relation to safeguarding and welfare. To organise rotas for staff and pupils, overseeing arrangements for pupil sessions and staff working patterns, including annual leave, ensuring sufficient staff:pupil ratios.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who will play a key role in the strategic planning of the Nursery and the implementation of the school development plans. We’re looking for someone who already has extensive experience in this field of work.

This is a Full Time, Permanent position, working Monday - Friday, 40 hours per week, the flexibility of the working weeks per year can be discussed at the interview stage.
