King’s Bruton is an HMC co-educational boarding and day school of 345 pupils aged 13-18.
We are looking for an inspirational Head of Psychology from either April or September 2018.
The successful applicant will be a motivated and well-qualified teacher with either a specialist or Psychology-related degree. The Head of Psychology will not only be a proven classroom practitioner but will also have the enthusiasm and passion to continue developing the department and the delivery of the subject as part of the 6th Form curriculum at King’s. Both full and part time positions will be considered for the right candidate, along with the possibility to start in either April or September 2018.

King’s Bruton is a mixed independent school with sixth form in the Somerset town of Bruton. Students attend the school from the ages of 13 to 18, with the option to board throughout their school careers. There are approximately 370 students on roll. The Somerset school operates in partnership with Hazlegrove Preparatory School, in nearby Sparkford.
King’s Bruton was founded as a boys' school in 1519, admitting girls in the late 1960s before becoming fully co-educational in 1997.
