Head of School

Full Time, Permanent

Required for January 2024

The Arthur Terry Learning Partnership has an exciting opportunity for a Head of School to lead our brand new school, Dunstall Park Primary.

Dunstall Park Primary School will be located on a new housing estate on the outskirts of Tamworth. The one form entry school will be the heart of this brand new community; the ‘go to’ place for all local residents who love where they live. As a result of their educational experience, the children of Dunstall Park will move onto the next part of their educational journey with knowledge, skills, inspiration, and ambition for their futures.

The school will start its journey with a nursery and reception class in September 2024 and will continue to grow year on year.

This is a unique opportunity to work with the Strategic Lead for the Central Hub of schools, to shape the vision, values, and culture of the school. To work with the DfE and Staffordshire County Council to ensure all procedures are completed to the highest standard and, alongside the Strategic Lead, be one of the key contacts for perspective children and parents.

The role is required from January 2024. In light of the role gradually building up to full-time, you will have the opportunity to support at some of our other primary schools when you are not working on the opening of Dunstall Park. This will be a wonderful opportunity to get to know the ATLP schools and ways of working, a perfect way to begin induction to the new role.
