Oaklands is an outstanding special school serving the London Borough of Hounslow that provides specialist education to students with severe learning difficulties, profound and multiple difficulties and autism. We have a Primary school (New Oaks) and a Secondary school (High Oaks) We cater for students aged from 4 to 19 across the Oaklands group. We are based across two different sites with both our school buildings offering state of the art facilities for our students.   

We are currently looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Head of School for our Secondary School. You will possess at least 2 years’ leadership experience within a special school and at least three years of teaching special needs students. The ideal candidate will lead and manage High Oaks, ensuring that the curriculum is designed and delivered to the highest standard. They will assist the Head Teacher to plan strategically, and contribute to the efficient and effective use of staff and resources.
