We are pleased to announce that, due to an exciting expansion programme, The Unicorn School is seeking to recruit enthusiastic and dedicated professionals to join our dynamic and friendly team. Our school is heavily oversubscribed, and with the acquisition of a second site, we are poised to offer post-16 education for the first time. This expansion underscores our commitment to providing exceptional education and creating additional opportunities for our students.

Our school offers achievement, opportunity and challenge to our students within a supportive environment. The students have a passion and desire to excel in learning. We are looking for conscientious and hard-working individuals who are passionate about education and pay meticulous attention to detail. 

Job Start: Easter 2025 or earlier if possible

You will: 

•        Have Qualified Teacher Status and a degree or a similar Science related qualification 

•        Possess recent experience of teaching Science to students in KS3-KS4

•        Have a good knowledge of the National Curriculum for GCSE Science including exam specifications. 

•        Be willing to explore other potential Science qualifications for KS4 pupils

•        Possess a good understanding of SEND procedures

•        Have a diverse set of skills which will enable you to be flexible, working in the classroom for both theory and practical sessions, as well as in our modern learning centre

•        Be an innovative and reflective practitioner who is keen to learn

•        Understand how to adapt your teaching for neuro-diverse pupils

•        Respect and promote the school’s ethos and values

·      Have strong ICT skills
