Our esteemed Wellington College Hangzhou Campus is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Head of Senior PE to join our vibrant team for the next academic year, 2025-26!
The Wellington College Hangzhou campus opened in 2018, showcasing a world-class modern facility, educating pupils from age 2 – 18 years old. Our campus is home to three schools, creating a large and caring community which harnesses the diversity of both East and West cultures. Our schools are aligned using traditional Wellington Values to provide an education with academic excellence at its heart, complemented by the best pastoral care and a wide breadth of co-curricular opportunity.
Hiba Academy Hangzhou (HAH) is the bilingual school combine the best of the British and Chinese education systems for Chinese pupils aged 2–18. The school was granted membership to FOBISIA in 2023, following a British type of curriculum and offers the International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) and A Levels.
BASIC QUALIFICATION
Education:
Undergraduate degree plus a recognised UK teaching qualification.
Language:
Fluent English required
Working experience:
A minimum of 4 years working experience teaching PE in high performing schools.
EXPERTISE
• Display excellence in PE teaching.
• Show a track record of success in a previous Middle Leadership role.
• Prior experience of working with ESL learners preferred.
PREFERRED APTITUDES
• Be able to assess pupils’ interests, needs and developments
• Be able to develop curriculum
• Display the Wellington Values
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office • Cross-cultural working experience is preferred

Hiba Academy Hangzhou offers a world-class bilingual education for children aged from 2 to 18, which begins in Hiba Academy Hangzhou (Nursery) with the Early Years Foundation Stage supported by the Early Years statements taken from the Zhejiang Curriculum.
