We are looking to appoint a Head of Sixth Form and Teacher on the Extended Leadership Team. The Head of Sixth Form will work with the Senior Leadership Team in developing a Sixth Form that is both inclusive and rigorous, and will be responsible for the day-to-day leadership and management of the Sixth Form.  

The successful candidate will be able to work collaboratively with other members of academy staff to enhance the Sixth Form provision. Post-16 education is a growing strength within the John Port Spencer Academy and one that will continue to develop. This is a great opportunity for those aspiring to senior leadership. Applicants would be expected to share the Trust’s high aspirations and expectations for pupils and staff and have demonstrable evidence of driving teaching and learning outcomes at GCSE and A level.
