St Andrew’s International High School (SAIntS) is a high quality, non-selective, co-educational day and boarding school offering a quality education based on the English National Curriculum, to IGCSE, GCSE, BTEC, AS and A2 level. We are a multiethnic, 11-18 school with over 500 students hailing from more than 40 different countries. The School has recently become a COBIS Compliant Member School.

The following position is available from September 2025.

The two-year contract offered includes a competitive salary, 50% Medical Aid, housing benefit, gratuity at the end of each year but paid monthly, flights at the beginning and end of contract and up to 300Kgs freight allowance for employee and 100Kgs spouse and 50Kgs each (for 2 children).

Applicants for this post must be suitably qualified and able to teach up to A Level.

We are seeking a dedicated teacher who is willing to lead by example and add value to the Sixth Form Department and contribute fully to the outstanding extra-curricular programme on offer at SAIntS. We encourage applications from candidates with all levels of teaching experience, you must be a qualified teacher.

About St Andrews International High School

St Andrew’s International High School is a mixed, non-selective, independent secondary school with sixth form and boarding in Malawi, serving students from the age of 11-18. The secondary school, situated in Blantyre has over 500 students on record, from over 30 different nationalities. 

St Andrew’s International High School welcomed its first pupils in 1938. The secondary school follows the British curriculum, adapted to a Malawian context. In Year 9, students work towards their IGCSE exams or BTEC level 2 qualifications, followed by A levels or BTEC level 3. The school holds title as the first BTEC School in Africa. Facilities include a recording studio, radio station, library, swimming pool, sports courts and dedicated teaching blocks.
