Job overview
The British School New Delhi is looking to appoint an experienced Head of Technology for Learning to join our happy and committed team. The appointee will be responsible for ensuring the effective administration of the Computer Science department (whole school) with new subject directions, ensuring ongoing professional development of teachers, resource allocation and make meaningful contributions. As a member of the secondary school leadership team, she/he will work closely with Curriculum Leaders, Key Stage Leaders and Teachers to support students and teachers to maximise students’ attainment. Demonstrates leadership and takes initiative for the development of the school by contributing to innovation and the leadership of change. The appointee will ensure the school is at the cutting edge of developments in the use of technology to enhance student experiences and school operations. Demonstrates the ability to lead and manage colleagues in order to enhance their performance; helping define targets, provide means and guidance and tracking progress.
The applicant should be a graduate in Technology or equivalent experience with proficiency in Python, Java, C++, and/or other coding languages. A minimum of 10 years teaching experience in international school setting is preferable with a minimum of 5 years of leadership experience.
