Job overview

We are seeking an innovative and dynamic individual to create and develop a sector-leading tennis programme here at Bryanston. With six outstanding grass courts, investment in LTAstandard hard courts, and a strong ethos for sport at the school, our vision is for Bryanston to be a leading tennis centre. This is an opportunity to lead a project from the start.

The post-holder will be expected to deliver a long-term strategy for tennis in line with the Team Bryanston Vision for Sport. They will be responsible for delivering an outstanding and inclusive student experience, growing participation, and further developing a performance strand in our offering across the school’s tennis programmes. The successful candidate will also seek out wider relationships with key partners that will generate commercial income through sponsorship and facilities usage.

This role would ideally suit a candidate with a UKCC tennis coaching qualification at level 2 or above with significant previous experience of managing projects in tennis, including an in-depth knowledge and understanding of developing tennis programmes.

Bryanston offers a competitive package in a fantastic environment, with the opportunity to shape the future of the sport here for our pupils.

About Bryanston School

Bryanston is an independent boarding and day school for boys and girls aged 3 to 18, set in a beautiful 400-acre site near Blandford Forum in Dorset. It includes Bryanston Prep School, a co-educational day and boarding prep school in the neighbouring village of Durweston.

Founded in 1928, the school aims above all to develop the all-round talents of individual pupils. A broad, flexible academic and extra-curricular programme is offered and each pupil benefits from considerable one-to-one help and guidance from a personal tutor, subject teachers and housemaster/housemistress. Bryanston aims to combine the best of the new and the old, as befits the school motto et nova et vetera.
