The Role
We are seeking an experienced and successful senior leader who is willing to make a long-term commitment to St. Andrew's College as it enters its next phase of development. The successful candidate will collaborate with a supportive governing body and Senior Leadership Team to lead the college into this new stage. The ideal candidate should be skilled in team leadership, target-setting, and adept at working within an international context.
Experience Required
- Proven senior leadership in a UK school or British international school delivering an IGCSE/A-Level programme.
- Evidence of educational thought leadership.
- Experience managing international students through the UCAS process.
- Experience of working in a boarding environment.
- Demonstrated success in working with senior colleagues to deliver measurable outcomes.
- Highly developed interpersonal skills with cultural awareness and empathy in interactions with students, parents, and staff.
- Experience in strategic planning.
- Strong financial management skills with a track record of meeting targets.
- Experience working successfully with a governing body and external stakeholders.
- Experience working with admissions and marketing, including understanding the role of our international agent partners.

St Andrew’s College Cambridge was formed in 1976 as a tutorial college offering a warm, friendly international environment for students wanting to study in the UK prior to university. The college currently comprises students from 25 countries worldwide attending its Pre-A Level, A Level and University Foundation courses and has significant expertise in looking after international students and making them feel at home.
