Job overview

PEARL HYDE PRIMARY SCHOOL

Headteacher

Salary Range- L14-18

Finham Park Multi Academy Trust is delighted to announce that we are recruiting a Headteacher for Pearl Hyde Primary School for September 2023. This is a unique and exciting opportunity for the right candidate to shape the immediate and long-term future for the school, supported by a close-knit community of other Headteachers and colleagues across the Trust.

Pearl Hyde is a primary school serving communities around Wyken and Walsgrave in Coventry. The school was judged as continuing to be ‘Good’ in April 2019. Since taking over the school, the Trust CEO and other colleagues have established strong governance and leadership structures that are bringing about rapid school improvement. Staff and students are extremely positive about the future.  The school has a PAN of 45. It is our belief that Pearl Hyde will become a learning community to rival the best on a national and international stage in the future. The successful candidate will lead Pearl Hyde and continue the drive to become a “World Class” school where all children have the times of their lives!

We are looking to appoint a charismatic, dynamic individual with exceptional leadership skills, who naturally inspires others and is passionate about teaching and its impact on learning. The successful candidate will be driven by a commitment to create the best possible educational opportunities for our students, in order to raise aspirations and transform lives.

Finham Park Multi Academy Trust is seeking a Headteacher who will:

·        be an already experienced and successful leader with the potential to become “World Class”; a willing and capable learner who is able to articulate a vision for the school and who will inspire and empower others to share in achieving it

·        have a determination to consolidate improvement, build on strengths and lead the school to even greater success

·        inspiring positive attitudes and motivating students and staff, ensuring all are valued and supported to be the best they can be

·        be passionate about making a difference for every child

·        have a strong presence, maintaining and developing excellent relationships between staff, governors, parents, students and the wider community

·        be committed to becoming involved at a strategic level in the development and growth of our Multi Academy Trust – unique in it’s ambition to promote co-construction at all levels with the Executive Headteacher and other colleagues from the Trust and its schools.

We welcome enquiries from both serving Headteachers and experienced Deputy Headteachers and are happy to arrange informal, confidential discussions or visits to the School. Should you be interested in either of these options, please contact Sam Jannaway, PA to the Executive Headteacher on 02476 840803 or email s.jannaway@finhampark.co.uk or alternatively Emily Bench, Head of HR on 02477 180000 or email e.bench@finhampark.co.uk

School Tours: 10th February 2023, 13th February 2023 or 16th February 2023.
