About the role
Wilsic Hall School based in Wadworth, Doncaster, is a specialist residential school offering education and care for up to 52 weeks per year for young people aged 8 to 19, with learning disabilities and complex needs, often in association with autism.
We are looking to recruit an experienced Senior Leader to lead by example, embed good practice and who has a proven track-record for improving standards and the quality of teaching in an specialist education provision. We are looking for an outstanding practitioner with high quality leadership skills who has a passion for education particularly in special educational needs.
As the leader of the school community and the effective day-to-day management of the school, you will model and promote positive attitudes and relationships amongst staff, children and all other stakeholders, in keeping with the Hesley Group’s vision and values. You will ensure the best possible outcomes for the children of the school, through robust monitoring and evaluation.
About you
We are looking for a compassionate senior leader who has a strong background in special educational needs and has an extensive knowledge of learning disabilities. We are looking for someone who has a solid track record of success when it comes to pupil’s progress and attainment and is an enabler for children to learn, ensuring all children in our care receive the best educational opportunity possible for them.
