The governors, staff, parents and pupils of Mallard Primary School are looking to recruit an exceptional and forward-thinking leader with a proven record of leading and embedding rapid and sustained school improvement who will guide our welcoming, successful and happy school into the next phase of its development.  We are a strongly improving Primary School, consisting of 370 pupils.

The Governing Board are looking for an experienced Headteacher who is committed to improving outcomes for all children to lead our enthusiastic team along our current improvement trajectory. If you are a successful, experienced leader with a proven track record or a serving Headteacher ready for a new challenge, we would be delighted to hear from you.

We are seeking a Headteacher who:

  • Can build strong partnerships with parents, carers and the wider community
  • Can develop and maintain professional links
  • Is committed to working collaboratively with other local schools and the wider community
  • Can maintain our safe, calm and well-ordered environment, focused on safeguarding pupils and staff
  • Build on existing successes, providing stability whilst also identifying opportunities for development
  • Sustain and develop close links with the Governing Board, to collaboratively realise the school's full potential and maximise outcomes for all stakeholders.
