Due to the retirement of the previous post-holder, the Governors now wish to start the process of recruiting the school’s next Head Teacher.

We are a small community school who work together to create an inspirational learning community in which everyone is valued, supported, and equipped for lifelong learning.

The New Head Teacher will be someone who:

• Has a proven track record of strong teaching skills
• Is at the stage of their career where they can now plan, lead and implement the next stages of Gomeldon’s growth, demonstrating a strong strategic and analytical approach
• Has proven experience of financial control and planning or can approach this area with confidence
• Has proven, strong organisational and administrative skills
• Is a strong communicator with the ability to interact successfully and foster a string working relationship with an involved parent body, supportive Governors and the staff

Hours: Permanent Full time

Salary: Leadership L11 - L17 (£60,488 - £69,970)
