John Hanson Community School is looking for a talented and highly committed Headteacher, who is able to build on our strengths and secure ongoing effective improvement, to ensure that all our students reach their full potential, not only whilst at school, but throughout their lives.

You will have:

Location and History

John Hanson Community School is a thriving, mixed gender 11-16 community school in South West Andover, Hampshire, with almost 1000 students.  The school has a rich history, dating back to 1582, and was previously known as Andover Free School and Andover Grammar School.  In 1974 the school was renamed John Hanson School in honour of its founder, and moved to the current site on Floral Way in 2001.
