The Management Committee are looking to appoint a dynamic and inspirational leader to take our school on the next stage of its educational journey.
We are looking for a leader
- With experience and passion for the holistic needs of children, who strongly advocates for children with SEMH and SEND.
- Fully understands the SEND code of practice and able to provide leadership in this highly dynamic environment.
- Has excellent interpersonal skills and committed to working with the team internally and with external agencies
- Has high aspirations and expectations for our school
- Can lead on a fully inclusive curriculum which aligns with National Curriculum Expectations but is bespoke to the needs of our children.
- Can work closely with the Outreach team based in school.

Our mission at Stepping Stones is to provide a safe, secure and attractive environment enabling children to enjoy learning and reach their full potential. At Stepping Stones Short Stay School we aim to:

- Support pupils within a group situation to develop their social and co-operative skills

- Work with pupils, parents, schools and other agencies to aid successful inclusion into a School appropriate to their needs
- Deliver a stimulating curriculum which emulates that which is taught in mainstream school
- Assess pupil progress to identify individual needs and inform future planning
- Work in partnership with parents through an open and honest approach
- Embrace and celebrate individuals and the schools' successes
- Work within the Behaviour and Care and Control Policies which provide clear routines and consistent expectations
- Have high expectations of all staff and pupils.
