This is a key leadership role for our school and for the community that we are so privileged to serve. The successful applicant will have up-to-date senior leadership experience of a wide variety of special needs (SLD, PLMD, ASC) and be able to demonstrate an impressive and sustained record of crafting a purposeful, motivational, and inclusive culture with exceptional pedagogy at the heart. They will have a deep understanding of what makes special education ‘the same but different’ (difference not deficit) and an unswerving commitment to the endeavour of inclusivity and championing the dignity of students and staff.
The right candidate will be a values-driven leader and ambitious for all learners. They will be committed to their own lifelong learning and development and to ensuring the school is a place where all adults and young can belong.
Once appointed, the successful candidate will be fully supported by the CEO and her executive team (including a full induction) in driving forward all aspects of ongoing improvement in the school.
