Job overview
Exceptional People Deserve Exceptional Staff
Livability Victoria School is special. In every way. Our children are vibrant, engaging and eager to learn. They know what they want. And what they want is a special leader.
Their next Headteacher will be their champion in all aspects of their lives at school. You will be someone who cares passionately about their successes and who can help them overcome challenges as they traverse personalised curriculums offering them the opportunities they need to live fulfilled lives.
Our staff need a special leader, too. Someone who leads by example, who shares, models and represents the vision and values of the Livability Education Directorate as they engage with parents, families and friends, and the wider Livability community.
Victoria School needs someone with experience of leading an outstanding school, who knows that making a difference is not a cliché but a daily event, and who can balance the competing priorities of leadership to make sure that every day counts for our children. If this is you, we cannot wait to meet you.
You will be a solution focused, highly organised yet creative leader, with a thorough understanding of the SEND code of practice and recent experience of inspection in a Good or Outstanding SEND setting.
You will have proven experience in a leadership position at a Deputy Headteacher or Headteacher level. You will be able to demonstrate an excellent understanding of the independent sector, a track record of high quality outcomes and the ability to manage financial budgets.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone seeking to develop a long term career in one of the most beautiful parts of the country working with an outstanding staff team.
Livability Victoria School is part of the national charity Livability. The school is one of three education settings that form the Livability Education Directorate. Our children and young people have a range of complex physical and learning needs, including ASC. The school provides education for children in the primary and secondary age range.
