Headteacher

We are seeking to appoint an outstanding and inspirational leader who is not constrained by a traditional approach to education. As a strong candidate who may already be a headteacher or an aspiring headteacher, you will connect learning and strong relationships, seeing them as the key to success. You will have high aspirations for all of the young people and staff you work with.

The Constance Bridgeman Centre (CBC), caters for up to 50 young people in Year 10 & 11 who have been permanently excluded or are at risk of permanent exclusion from school. CBC has experienced a turbulent 18 months, including staffing changes, relocating to a new site and the retirement of its longstanding Headteacher, all of which contributed to an Inadequate Ofsted judgment in July 2024. CBC is currently being supported by the Executive Headteacher and wider Leadership Team of New Rush Hall School, with the aim of driving school development. The intention is that this support will be ongoing.
