We are now looking for a Headteacher to lead Long Close School, an independent day school for girls and boys from the age of 2.5 - 16 years. It is the leading through-school in the area, nestled between Upton Court and Lascelles Parks in Slough.

Shortlisted candidates will be invited to interviews on Thursday 18th January 2024. Successful candidates after Day 1, will be invited to meet with Michael Drake, CEO Europe for a final stage interview to take place via Teams.

About Long Close School
Long Close School is a co-educational, independent school for children aged 2-16, situated in Slough, Berkshire.
The school was founded in 1940 and after a series of developments over the decades was bought by Cognita, the largest independent schools business in the UK, in 2004. The senior school opened in September 2006.
With over 80 years of teaching heritage, the school is firmly established as the first choice amongst parents looking to give their child the best possible start to their education.
