The Arthur Terry Learning Partnership has an exciting opportunity for an ambitious and outstanding individual to lead Nether Stowe School through the next phase of its journey.

Nether Stowe was judged to be ‘requires improvement’ in April 2023; it did however secure ‘good’ in all judgements except quality of education. This does not tell the whole story - The school has been on a transformational journey since joining the trust.

Its changing reputation, locally, has also seen its pupil numbers grow and for the first time in a long time, with years 7 and 8 now full. There is, however, still much to do. Alongside the school improvement journey, the next headteacher will ensure that the school is at the heart of the community it serves.

Nether Stowe is one of six secondary schools within the Arthur Terry Learning Partnership; there are a further 17 primary schools and one all-through AP that make up the learning family. ATLP schools have been drawn together because they share a common driver in ensuring that children are at the heart of everything we do - There is a strong sense of collaboration.

 School leaders work together and support each other for the benefit of the children and families we serve. There is a strong and effective support network that covers school improvement as well as central services. Through codification of responsibilities and accountabilities we empower school leaders to serve the needs of their learning community recognising that one size fits all model does not meet the needs of individual schools.
