The Emmanuel School Trust (TEST) is looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic headteacher for its school in Walthamstow. Emmanuel Community School, “A Christian School in the heart of Walthamstow”; established in 2012.

The school welcomes children of all faiths and no faith to our caring and friendly school community. We always aim to learn together through our values of love, justice, courage, truthfulness and forgiveness.

TEST is a Faith Designate multi-academy trust with a strong commitment to the religious and pastoral development of all pupils and you will be required to build on the strong links with the community and the local churches. We have very high aspirations for our children and we are determined to offer them every opportunity to thrive and reach their full potential.

You should:

•        Affirm and develop the inclusive Christian distinctiveness of the school.

•        Be an excellent practitioner with high expectations for attainment and behaviour for all pupils.

•        Have extensive experience of managing staff well, adopting a collaborative approach, offering inspiration, support, motivation and challenge.

•        Proactively promote the principles of Inclusion and Safeguarding to ensure that these are delivered effectively.

•        Be innovative in the use of technology across different aspects of school life.

•        Work closely with the wider local community through our links with churches, our PTFA and local community groups.
