An exciting opportunity has become available to join the Kedleston Group, as Headteacher of Arc School Old Arley.

Arc School Old Arley is part of the Kedleston Group and opened in 2015. The school is located in a rural village near Nuneaton, Warwickshire.

Arc School Old Arley is an independent specialist day school offering a safe learning environment for children and young people age 7-16, with a wide range of varying needs including social, emotional and mental health needs (SEMH), autism (ASC), attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) and attachment difficulties (AD).

We are looking for an experienced Headteacher who is resilient, innovative and who will lead by example to develop and deliver their vision for the highest standard of education provision. In addition to being an ardent advocate for our children and young people, you will be highly experienced in working with children with SEN and leading, supporting and developing teams to succeed. You will be enthusiastic and sensitive, with the ability to keep calm in challenging situations in order to deliver the best possible outcomes for the Arc School Old Arley team and the wider community. You will have experience in all aspects of school leadership and be able to demonstrate an ability to lead and manage a school and develop the provision towards ensuring outstanding outcomes for all pupils.

You will be able to articulate an affinity and commitment to our aims and values as well as have a demonstrable track record of outstanding teaching and learning and excellent leadership experience.

Requirements

·        QTS

·        Degree

·        Substantial, demonstrable leadership and management experience in a SEN school, preferably as a Headteacher

·        Experience of and passion for improving standards of education and care for children with ASC and associated SEMH needs

·        NPQH (desirable)

·        SEND qualification (desirable)
