Heathfield International School, located in the heart of Bangkok, invites applications for the position of Secondary Headteacher. With around 400 students, a two-form entry in early years and primary, and a growing secondary section with exciting opportunities and challenges in our sixth form, we are seeking a dynamic leader to guide our school into its next phase of growth and excellence. The post is ideally suited to an aspiring Headteacher.

Your Role:

As Headteacher you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Secondary phase, ensuring academic rigor, with an inclusive and nurturing environment. You will work with the Headmaster and Senior Leadership Team to foster strong relationships within the school community and beyond, driving our strategic vision while upholding our commitment to providing a high-quality educational experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work alongside the Senior Leadership Team to develop and implement the school's strategic plan.
• Maintain and enhance our accreditation status.
• Oversee the delivery of a high-quality educational program, including curriculum development and review and assessment in the Secondary phase
• Effectively manage operational, financial, and staff resources in the Secondary phase
• Promote a culture of excellence in student life and safeguard their welfare.

• A strong leader with excellent communication skills.
• Experienced in educational administration and management.
• Culturally sensitive, thriving in a multicultural environment.
• Committed to continuous personal and professional development.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree (BA Education, PGCE or equivalent).
• Proven leadership experience in an educational setting, preferably international.
• Masters Degree or further leadership qualifications (e.g NPQSL)
