We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Higher Learning Teaching Assistant to join our fantastic team to work primarily in EYFS. We currently have four FS1 classes and seven FS2 classes.

The role – Job description 

Key Accountabilities:

  •  Lead high quality interventions to support groups or individual children to ensure all make accelerated progress. 
  •  Cover EYFS classes when required to do so- following planning and delivering high quality teaching and learning. 

They will also be: 

  •  able to provide support for pupils, the teacher and the school in order to raise standards of achievement for all by utilising advanced levels of knowledge and skills when assisting with planning, monitoring, assessing and managing classes. 
  •  Someone with a clear vision on how to develop pupils with an impact on achievement.
  •  Able and willing to assess learning as well as social and emotional needs and give help that is needed to remove the barriers to learning.

The successful candidate will support our teachers in taking a creative approach to teaching pupils according to their educational needs, maximising their achievement and ability to succeed.

 

This is a great opportunity for a HLTA who is passionate about working in Early Years and who is motivated to inspire learning in children. The successful candidate should be enthusiastic and a knowledgeable HLTA, keen to work in partnership with current staff and able to work under instruction as well as having the ability to use their initiative. They will challenge and excite our children, have the ability to consistently deliver high quality learning experiences and commit to high standards of professionalism with high expectations of the children.

 

Position Requirements: 

Education: Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University

Experience: Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Higher Learning Teaching Assistant 

Language: Excellent English language is mandatory

To be line managed by Head of EYFS

Hours of work - 7.15am to 4pm Monday to Thursday, and up to 12 noon on Fridays; with occasional evening and holiday work

Holidays - as per the school KHDA approved calendar
