North Cestrian School (NCS) are currently looking to appoint a Higher Level Teaching Assistant within the Science Faculty on a permanent basis. This new post is an exciting opportunity to join the North Cestrian School community. The purpose of the role is to complement the professional work of teachers by taking responsibility for agreed learning activities both within the classroom and outside of the classroom environment. This will involve planning, preparing and delivering learning programmes and support to individual pupils, small groups and on a short-term basis to whole classes.  The successful applicant will be flexible, have excellent communication and organisation skills and a passion for working with children. A good knowledge of the Key Stage 3 and 4 Science curriculum and experience of delivering Entry Level Science would be an advantage. NCS, as part of the Hamblin Education Trust is an equal opportunities employer.
