We wish to appoint an experienced individual to support classroom teachers in their work with SEND students aged between 11 and 18.
You will need to be an excellent communicator, with sound knowledge and comprehension of English and Mathematics for secondary students. Applicants will have worked with or cared for children in the secondary age group.
Applicants will need to be appropriately qualified to either degree or HLTA accreditation and have experience of working with students with special educational needs.
Depending on experience and qualifications, the salary quoted above is for working 36 hours per week for 39 weeks per year. The final salary figure will depend on the agreed contractual number of hours per week and weeks worked per year if different to those figures quoted above. We would also take into account any long service if applicable.

About Graveney School
Graveney School is a non-denominational, co-educational secondary school with sixth form in Tooting, south-west London. There are 1,970 students aged 11-18 on the school roll, 709 of whom study in the sixth form.
Established in 1986, the school has held academy status since 2011. On joining Graveney, all students are placed into one of three houses: St John's, Ensham and Rosa Bassett. The secondary school is a short distance from Furzedown Primary School.
In February 2020, Graveney was again named by 'The Times' as Wandsworth's top performing secondary school at A-Level, based on an aggregation of the five key accountability measures, including percentage of pupils achieving EBacc, pupil progress, average points per pupil, average grade and average points.

Additional study sessions are offered to pupils after school and during the holidays, in order to ensure that all have the opportunity to achieve.
