The successful applicant will have curriculum expertise and strong pedagogical practice to achieve outstanding learning outcomes for our students within an authentic Christian environment.

Duties and Responsibilities:

· Responsible for all aspects of the planning, preparation and delivery of effective learning and teaching activities and programmes across key learning areas for students

· Provide instruction in all core subjects at a single grade level including English, Math, Science, Social Studies, Health, and Bible. Courses such as PE, Music, Art, and Mandarin are taught by subject specialists

· Work collaboratively with colleagues in grade level teams

 

Qualifications and Experience:

· Bachelor Degree in Education, or Bachelor Degree in relevant major subject(s) with a Postgraduate Diploma in Education or equivalent teaching credential with at least 10 weeks’ practicum required

· Elementary / primary teacher training required and prior experience in teaching in primary schools strongly preferred

· High level of English proficiency in spoken and written English required

· Candidate embracing values of Christian education 

 

Effective Date of Employment

The starting date for this appointment is mid-August 2025. Initial contract is normally 2 years in duration. Renewable 2-year contracts are offered subject to mutual agreement.
