Clyst Vale is a thriving and vibrant 11- 18 Community College situated five miles from Exeter. We have clear expectations and systems, but far more important are the excellent working relationships we establish between staff and students, as well as staff and parents. We remain the only secondary school in Devon to be accredited Gold Rights Respecting School status.
Following an increase in student and staff numbers we are in the process of creating a new HR department and as part of this development are pleased to offer the new post of HR Administrator. Starting as soon as possible, you will be joining us at an exciting time and we are looking for someone who has excellent organisational, communication and administrative skills. Reporting to the HR Manager you will deal with a wide range of HR functions whilst ensuring that confidentiality is maintained at all times. Previous administrative experience would be an advantage as would experience of working within an educational establishment, however full training will be given the the successful candidate.
The normal working hours for the post are 23 hours per week over 40 weeks per year. We are flexible as to whether the hours are worked over 3, 4 or 5 days per week and this will be discussed at interview.
To be considered for this post you will need:-
Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills
Exceptional organisational skills
Previous administrative experience would be an advantage
Experience of working in an educational setting would be advantageous

CVCC Grade C £12884 rising to £13319 (actual salary for 920 hours)
