About Corby Technical School and the HR Administrator role
Corby Technical School is an outstanding free school (part of the Brooke Weston Trust) and we are seeking to appoint an HR Administrator. You will be the first point of contact for queries from employees and managers and will be expected to work closely with our central team and external HR advisors to ensure the effective delivery of the HR Service. Working within the Trust's policies, your main duties will be the end-to end administration of our recruitment process, sickness absence monitoring and assisting when required with grievance and disciplinary procedures, performance management reviews, staff development, motivation and retention. Due to the nature of this role, it will be necessary for the successful candidate to provide a high level of confidentiality in all aspects of the work operations. This postholder is required to have excellent verbal and written communication skills, be organised and have a good knowledge of Microsoft packages.
The person appointed will demonstrate a good standard of education, and be able to communicate at all levels, with students, staff and parents. Normal working hours will be 7.00am to 3.00pm Monday to Thursday and 7.00am to 2.30pm on Friday. There will be the need to adapt these hours on occasion to suit the needs of the school.
