Joining us now offers a fantastic opportunity to help support our thriving academies as we look to expand. We are proud to have four academies, an alternative provision independent school, and a University Technical College (UTC) already rated good or outstanding with strong educational outcomes.
RMAT is currently made-up of The Rodillian Academy, The Featherstone Academy, BBG Academy, Brayton Academy, UTC Leeds and Southway, and the successful candidate will be expected to travel between the sites as required.
You will join the Central Services Team of one of the most successful academy trusts in the country, that does things differently. We are committed to creating schools that students want to attend, and where teachers want to work. Schools that play a big part in their local communities, as well as forming a wider community across the North of England with the other academies that make up RMAT. Our experiences have seen us become very effective in supporting schools across the country in what we consider very challenging, but exciting times in education.
RMAT is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and we expect all staff, volunteers, visitors and contractors to share this commitment. Shortlisted applicants will undergo relevant checks in line with statutory guidance and all appointees will be required to undertake an Enhanced Disclosure check by the Disclosure and Barring Service.

We are a Trust of five academies, an alternative provision independent school and a University Technical College (UTC) based in West and North Yorkshire.
With a strong focus on resilience, growth mindset and Positive Discipline, the RMAT ethos has helped to transform schools – from their culture to their Ofsted ratings – as well as the lives of students and teachers.
We are committed to doing things differently – creating schools that students want to attend, and where teachers want to work.
We raise aspiration levels for staff, students and schools by encouraging creativity in the classroom, and by giving our staff freedom to experiment with their teaching.
We strive to develop a growth mindset in each of our young people and our staff – a belief that intelligence is not fixed or inherited but can be improved if we learn from our mistakes and continually work hard.
All of this is guided by our Positive Discipline policy – a traditional approach to behaviour management, innovative curriculum design and excellence in teaching that delivers the best possible outcomes.
Our Academies are all clustered within 30 minutes travelling distance of one another, allowing us the ability to provide high quality networks and support.
