Established in September 2016, UST currently comprises four member schools located in two London Boroughs:

St Paul’s Way School (SPW) 3 - 18 all-through school in Tower Hamlets

Royal Greenwich Trust School (RGTS) 11 - 18 secondary school in Greenwich

Cyril Jackson Primary School (CJPS) 3 - 11 primary school in Tower Hamlets

Sir William Burrough Primary School (SWB) 3 - 11 primary school in Tower Hamlets

We are pleased to announce an exciting new opportunity for a HR Professional, to join our central team.

The HR Operations Manager role is essential to leading on the day-to-day employee life cycle activities and managing a small team of early career HR professionals. We are therefore seeking an experienced professional, with a solid background in the education sector, demonstrating best practise in the following areas:

  • To use developed specialist HR knowledge to provide sound advice on multifaceted situations, assessing risk and providing possible solutions.
  • Facilitating and leading on good employee relations, supporting managers in effective implementation of all HR policies.
  • To advise on current HR legislation and trends, both on a national and local level.
  • To provide advice to SLT on HR issues e.g., pay and contractual queries, probation, disciplinary etc.
  • To update HR policies in accordance with changes in legislation and ensure that they are implemented correctly locally.

We require someone who is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and who can hit the ground running.
