 About the role 

Reporting into the Senior Team, being the local lead in all aspects be the local lead in all aspects of HR administration, including recruitment, systems, policies and process, the maintenance of employee files, annual training, and compliance. Responsible for leading and overseeing all SCR related activities across International School Zurich North (ISZN) and the Four-Forest Group of Schools. Excellent supervision, people management, time management, attention to detail and communication skills, and the ability to work both alone and within a team are essential. This role is largely working alone with the local teams, but with HR support from Cognita Central HR team.

Please note that this is a hands-on operational role. Although you will be expected to be based onsite at one of the schools each week, you can also work remotely on some weeks.

We will consider part-time applications; this role can be available from 0.6 -1.0 FTE.

 Who we are looking for: 

·      Previous experience in the education sector

·      Previous experience in managing a school central register.

·      Intermediate IT skills including MS office and email.

·      Must be able to speak, read, write in both English and German

·      Ability to work unsupervised and proactive problem-solving attitude.

About International School, Zurich North (ISZN)

ISZN International School is a mixed, non-selective, non-denominational independent all-through school with sixth form in Switzerland, serving students from the age of 3-18. The all-through school is situated in Wallisellen, nearby to the city of Zurich.  It is an International Baccalaureate (IB) World School.

ISZN International School was established in 1999. The school offers an international curriculum taught in English, with pupils going on to sit IGCSE exams and A levels. Small class sizes are offered with a 1:8 teacher, student ratio. There are over 40 nationalities represented at the school. Facilities include a library, art room, science labs and access to a swimming pool at local sports centre.
