We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Inclusion FS3 Teacher to join our team at Al Maharat Schools. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, delivering, and assessing high-quality, inclusive lessons tailored to the needs of FS3 students, particularly those with special educational needs (SEN). As the English Leader, the teacher will play a crucial role in developing and implementing effective English language instruction across the curriculum, ensuring that all students acquire essential language skills.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Planning and Teaching:

  • Design and implement engaging and differentiated lesson plans that cater to a range of learning styles and abilities.
  • Utilize a variety of teaching strategies and resources to promote active learning and student engagement.
  • Foster a stimulating classroom environment that encourages curiosity, creativity, and a love for learning.
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special educational needs, ensuring that appropriate accommodations are made.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing targeted interventions and support as needed.
  • Collaborate with the school's Special Educational Needs Coordinator (SENCo) and other professionals to ensure a cohesive approach to inclusion.
  • Regularly assess and evaluate student performance, providing constructive feedback to students and parents.
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and development, utilizing assessment data to inform teaching practices.
  • Prepare and present reports on student achievement and progress to parents and the school leadership team.
  • Lead the development and delivery of the English curriculum, ensuring it meets the needs of all learners and aligns with school standards.
  • Promote best practices in English language instruction, including reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills.
  • Organize and conduct professional development workshops for staff on effective English teaching strategies.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, and parents to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Engage in regular communication with parents, providing updates on their child's progress and involving them in the learning process.
  • Participate in school meetings, committees, and professional development activities to enhance personal and team effectiveness.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field; a Master's degree is preferred.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification.
  • A minimum of [3] years of teaching experience, particularly in an inclusion or special education setting.
  • Strong knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum and assessment frameworks.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with proficiency in English (native level speaker or equivalent).
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
