Job overview

We are a disruptive school start-up, reimagining education that promotes human flourishing by putting relationships, personal wellbeing, and a strong connection to nature at the core of the learning process.  Our learning approach is grounded in and inspired by the Islamic faith, Emirati culture, and the Arabic language, based on our location.

We believe the world is a living classroom and we’re well positioned to advance a learning model that allows for real world continuous learning as part of our key purpose: to develop global stewards.

The impact our disruptive start-up will make will depend upon a team who not only understand education, but are familiar with its strengths, limitations, and potential.  We aim to recruit talent that we can nurture – teacher ‘incubator’ style – who grow with us and, one day, lead learning communities.

Join us in redefining education and empowering students to thrive in a dynamic world!

We are currently searching for a dedicated Inclusion Officer who will champion our approach to inclusion.

Role and Responsibilities:

Program Development and Management: Design and oversee the implementation of comprehensive special education programs tailored to the unique needs of children. Ensure these initiatives align with federal regulations.

Individualized Education Plans (IEPs): Lead the development, assessment, and adjustment of IEPs for each student requiring special education services, in collaboration with teachers, parents, and other specialists.

Resource Allocation: Manage resources effectively to support special education programs, including staffing, materials, and technological aids.

Training and Support: Provide training and ongoing support to teachers and staff on best practices for inclusion and differentiated instruction.

Parent and Teacher Collaboration: Serve as the primary liaison between the school and parents of children with specific learning needs, ensuring open and effective communication. Facilitate meetings between staff and parents to discuss student progress and strategies for enhancement.

Assessment and Reporting: Monitor the progress of special education programs and the academic performance of children involved. Prepare and present reports to school leadership and relevant authorities.

Advocacy and Awareness: Advocate for the rights and needs of children with specific learning needs, promoting awareness and inclusivity within the school community.
