As an Information Support Officer, your main responsibilities will include:
- Warmly welcoming and assisting students and visitors to ensure they receive timely and accurate information.
- Providing secondary support for course enquiries via phone and email, offering guidance and assistance.
- Offering crucial administrative support across multiple departments.
This position operates on a rota basis, and you may be required to work across both our Southport College and King George V College sites.
To excel in this role, candidates should have a Level 2 qualification in English/Literacy and Maths/Numeracy. Practical experience in providing information, advice, and support services is also essential, supported by strong interpersonal and communication skills.
You should be able to collaborate effectively within teams, prioritise customer satisfaction through excellent service, and perform well under pressure. Additionally, you should be able to quickly grasp and apply new information and demonstrate proficiency in using Microsoft Office.
