We are seeking to appoint an energetic, inspirational and dedicated Interventions Lead with a strong commitment to helping our students in an educational setting and to support access to learning for children with specific needs by leading interventions outside of the classroom.

As an Interventions Lead you will have a specific focus on the needs of students who demonstrate very low levels of literacy skills or who are not native level English speakers and to be responsible for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of children and young people within the school. As a member of our team, you will be passionate about contributing your skills to ensure all our children and young people receive the best possible education.

We are a co-educational selective school in the centre of Aylesbury.  Our roll is currently 1230, including a sixth form of 350. Between forty and sixty sixth formers  join us from other schools in the area. We serve a very wide area – most of North Buckinghamshire and Milton Keynes.

Our facilities and examination results have improved significantly in recent years. Almost all our students go to university when they leave us – many to competitive universities including a handful to Oxford and Cambridge.

Parents regularly tell us that we do an excellent job of turning out well-rounded young adults who are prepared to make a great success of their adult lives. Our relationships are important to us – because we know that our students will learn better when they are feeling good about themselves.
