We are seeking a passionate, dedicated, and dynamic Islamic A & B Teacher to join our team. Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans based on the Islamic A & B curriculum and educational standards.
  • Integrate interdisciplinary approaches to enhance students’ understanding of Islamic teachings.
  • Deliver effective, differentiated instruction to accommodate diverse learning styles and needs.
  • Utilize various teaching methods, including technology, group work, and hands-on activities to enhance student engagement.
  • Design and administer formative and summative assessments to evaluate student understanding and progress.
  • Provide constructive feedback to students and communicate regularly with parents about student achievements and areas for improvement.
  • Establish a positive and respectful classroom environment conducive to learning.
  • Employ effective behavior management strategies to ensure a productive learning atmosphere.
  • Collaborate with fellow teachers and school leadership to enhance the educational experience.
  • Participate in school events, extracurricular activities, and community outreach programs to foster a strong school-community connection.
  • Engage in continuous professional development opportunities to stay current with educational trends and teaching methodologies.
  • Share best practices and innovative teaching strategies with colleagues.
  • Promote an understanding of Islamic values while respecting and embracing the diverse backgrounds of all students.
  • Encourage students to engage in discussions about their cultural and religious identities.

Qualifications:

  • Education:
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Islamic Studies, Education, or a related field.
  • Teaching/education diploma.
  • 3 to 4 years of teaching experience in Islamic studies or related subjects.

Skills:

  • Teaching Skills:
  • Ability to create engaging lesson plans and deliver content effectively.
  • Proficiency in employing a variety of instructional strategies to meet the needs of diverse learners.
  • Communication Skills:
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
  • Ability to foster open communication and build positive relationships with students and families.
  • Skills in managing classroom dynamics and implementing effective behavior management techniques.
  • Ability to create a supportive and respectful classroom culture.
  • Awareness and sensitivity to diverse cultural backgrounds and perspectives.
  • Commitment to promoting inclusivity and respect for all students.
  • Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks in a dynamic environment.
  • Strong planning and organizational skills for lesson preparation and assessment.
  • Flexibility in responding to changing needs and circumstances in the classroom.
  • Willingness to incorporate feedback and improve teaching practices.
