Amity International school, Abu Dhabi is looking to appoint a well-qualified, enthusiastic and highly motivated IT Engineer with a sound knowledge of Data Management and Support.

Job Description

·        Administration of SIS, MIS and Academic Applications

·        User administration for Academic applications

·        Manage a variety of tasks surrounding academic promotion, year rollover and academic reporting.

·        Timetable management for the school in liaise with the academic teams.

·        Installation of PC and other IT hardware 

·        Install, configure and manage software and their functions according to specifications and compliance

·        Ensure security and privacy of networks and computer systems

·        Assist in and plan training, development and education for new software and hardware

·        Troubleshoot to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner

·        Maintain records/logs of repairs and fixes 

·        Maintain hardware and software inventory

·        Identify computer or network equipment shortages and place orders when necessary

Requirements

·        Immediate joiners who are currently available or ready to relocate to Abu Dhabi

·        At least 3 years of experience in an educational institution with IT and data management experience

·        Experience in SIMS/iSAMS or similar applications is an advantage

·        Report making skills as required by the inspection authorities is an advantage.

·        Degree in Computer Science, engineering or similar relevant field

·        Problem solver and attention to details

·        Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

·        Outstanding organizational and time-management skills

·        Hands on experience with diverse computer systems and networks

·        Knowledge of internet security and data privacy principles

·        Previous experience on using service desk tool.

·        Relevant certifications and knowledge of educational standards is an advantage.
