Role

We are looking for a Junior Admissions Secretary to join our team starting in November 2024. The role is key to supporting the Administrative and Admissions team at our Primary and Middle School campus, conveniently located in central Milan. 

Responsibilities

  • Ensures that all current and prospective families receive a positive impression of the school.
  • Delivers an efficient and welcoming service to all stakeholders building strong and lasting relationships with prospective parents and students
  • Works with the Administrative and Admissions team of the Primary and Middle School campus with a focus on the admissions process, from school tours, applications, and assessments to the induction process to welcome in new students.
  • Key role in the planning, preparation and execution of admissions-related events, such as campus tours, open mornings, school events, fairs, etc. 
  • The role also involves most areas of administration that would normally be expected of a busy school office/reception area with the addition of admissions as part of a job share. 


Skills Required

  • Excellent communication skills with attention to detail and accuracy
  • High proficiency in both English and Italian (spoken and written) is required; knowledge of French is an asset 
  • Excellent interpersonal skills; enthusiasm for dealing with people and a friendly, professional manner
  • Outstanding IT proficiency with a range of software and platforms, data entry
  • Experience in managing social media platform and photography skills
  • Highly organised and able to utilise database software to track and analyse admissions enquiries
  • Discretion and confidentiality 
  • Adaptable, flexible and problem solving 
  • We are looking for someone with strong experience in managing social media platforms and photography skills.
