Bradford Grammar Junior School is looking to appoint an enthusiastic and experienced Class Teacher to teach in Year 1. From September 2024, Bradford Grammar Junior School will be admitting Reception and Year 1 pupils as part of an exciting new development for the Junior School. As a committed and inspiring class teacher, you will be joining a school which offers a lively, challenging and broad-based curriculum.
The successful candidate must have a relevant classroom teaching experience in Key Stage 1. A willingness to meet challenges with enthusiasm and to contribute as a team member is essential.
The post will suit a teacher with a minimum of two years’ experience who can inspire and motivate boys and girls to reach their potential within our happy and vibrant school.
Candidates should be willing to contribute to the extra-curricular life of the school and should have excellent pastoral skills.

Bradford Grammar School is a mixed, non-denominational, all-through independent school situated in Bradford, West Yorkshire. The school caters for children from junior school through to sixth form, aged between 6-19. Admission is by exam. There are approximately 1,120 students at the school.
Bradford Grammar School was founded in 1662 by Royal Charter and has been based on its current site since 1949. It shares a site with its junior school, Clock House. Facilities include specialist sports grounds, a swimming pool and gym.
