KS2 Experienced Class Teacher

M3-M6

FTC - Maternity Cover 01/01/2025 to 31/08/2025

We are looking for an experienced KS2 class teacher to join our dedicated team of staff at Lambourn C of E Primary, a small rural school, set within beautiful grounds.

At Lambourn, our vision is simple – we work closely together, sharing our common goal of inspiring our children and staff to achieve and to enjoy life and learning. In our January 2023 Ofsted inspection we were rated good in 4 areas.

We would love to hear from you if you feel you could share in this aspiration. We are looking for:

  • An enthusiastic, caring teacher;
  • A teacher who is reflective, able to use AFL to help pupils improve;
  • A person who has high personal expectations as well as high aspirations for all pupils;
  • A strong, professional collaborator, someone who works well as part a team.

Lambourn is a large village set in rolling hills with easy accessibility to Swindon (12 miles), Marlborough (13 miles), Wantage (9 miles) and Newbury (13 miles). We are very proud of our facilities - we have huge grounds, a minibus, a swimming pool and good ICT and curriculum.

In return we can offer you:

  • Great children;
  • A supportive team;
  • Staff who care for their children and each other;
  • Excellent resources and facilities;
  • Employee Health and wellbeing services.

Informal discussion about the position and visits to the school are warmly encouraged. Please contact the school office to arrange to come and visit via email or telephone.
