We are seeking a passionate and driven KS4 and Extra-Curricular Activities Lead for Physical Education to join our dedicated PE department with the ability to deliver a variety of sports including Netball, Girls Football and Swimming, and Athletics. This is a fantastic opportunity to lead the delivery of Key Stage 4 PE and manage our extensive extra-curricular sports program, while helping to inspire students to reach their full potential both inside and outside the classroom. 

Principal Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning and delivery of engaging and differentiated PE lessons for Key Stage 4, ensuring that all students are supported and challenged to achieve their best.
  • Develop and implement strategies to raise student achievement and progress in KS4 PE, fostering a culture of enthusiasm and excellence.
  • Oversee the coordination and management of the school's extra-curricular sports and physical activity programs, providing a diverse and inclusive range of activities.
  • Encourage student participation in sports, promoting the development of teamwork, leadership, and physical well-being.
  • Build and maintain partnerships with external organizations and clubs to enhance student opportunities, including fixtures, competitions, and events.
  • Deliver Level 2 Vocational courses in Physical Education, providing students with practical skills and qualifications that prepare them for future careers.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the KS4 PE curriculum, Level 2 Vocational Courses and extra-curricular program, ensuring continuous improvement and student engagement.
  • Collaborate with colleagues in the PE department and across the school to support whole-school initiatives and contribute to the wider school community.
